DAY ONE: We will photograph a maternity client both indoors & outdoors focusing on the specific skills you would like to see and learn. Studio Rim lighting? yes! Let’s cover that. Silhouettes? You will be rocking these before days end! Bathtub portraiture? Yes, lets do that too! Sunrise or sunset session? I’m game if you are! Follow me and receive hands on experience with all the different nuances of maternity photography. Learn to pose your clients to accent their assets and create connection and strong emotion between couples. See first hand how to craft the light around you to grace the pregnant form. Then, watch as will go over post processing in depth, so you can create emotional maternity images for your clients.
Day Two: We will turn our focus to newborn photography. We will go over lighting in depth (because lighting is everything), posing with a strong focus on baby led posing, parent & baby posing, soothing babies, how to read their cues and everything in between! I will show you my step by step editing process and arm you with all of my personal presets and actions that help to speed up my work flow. We will discuss pricing at great length. I will show you how I have been able to be a full time stay at home mom, who homeschools her 4 boys and yet run a photography business that is profitable and enjoyable in the midst of a very busy life. Weather you are just a beginning photographer or you are a seasoned pro looking to enrich your skill set…I can personally tailor this mentorship to meet your specific needs!
